Jesus blood type

Jesus' Blood type and what it may possibly signify

How could we possibly know that Jesus blood type is AB?
However true it may be that we cannot know Jesus blood type for absolute certainty, it seems that God has been pleased to give us a very large body of evidence which overwhelmingly shows Jesus blood type as being AB (most likely AB positive)—evidences such as the Shroud of Turin, the Sudarium of Oveido, along with quite a few important Eucharistic miracles, both historical and also very recent, whose blood test results have all consistently confirmed the AB blood type. In fact, recent scientific blood analysis has confirmed once again the AB blood type in both the Shroud and the Sudarium--two sacred relics which are believed to have physically touched the body of Jesus, and contain His precious blood.

Presented below are just a few of the many cases which having been scientifically tested by laboratories in different areas of the world, all of which reveal the AB blood type:
- The Corporal of Bolsena  (13th century, blood tested in 1995)

And for those who are interested in more recent events, the three below have occurred in just the last 25 years and the blood results were all type AB positive:
- The (desecrated) Eucharistic host at Buenos Aires,Argentina  (1996) – An interesting side note about this miracle is that the Archbishop who commissioned the investigation was Archbishop Bergoglio --now Pope Francis!

Each of the links above confirm the AB blood type test result, and as of this writing there is well over a dozen miracles/events which all have resulted in this same conclusion.

Rarity of the AB blood type among the human population
Together the AB blood type (both positive and negative) is one of the rarest of the human blood types, with only approximately 3.4 percent of the world population having AB+, and only 0.6 percent of the population with AB-.

AB blood type and its universal receptivity
What makes the AB blood type even more special is that people who have AB blood can receive blood from anyone, and are therefore known as “universal recipients”, unlike all other blood types who can only receive from other specific blood types. Therefore AB blood type is referred to as the "Universal Receiver" blood type.

So what to make of the universal receptivity of Jesus blood type?
So this begs the question--why would Jesus’ blood be universally receptive by all the blood types of humanity? What could this signify? Well, this is where Science and Faith may very well merge.

In the Eucharist, we often speak of “receiving” Jesus in Holy Communion.  When we consume the Eucharist, Jesus literally unites and becomes one with us, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

Eucharistic "Koinonia"
However, from Its beginning the Church has always taught that Eucharistic communion flows in two directions, Jesus uniting with us, and we joining together in Communion with Him--for when we receive Communion, it’s actually less about Jesus becoming part of us, than it is of we becoming ever more part of Him – and, by extension, ever more part of his Body, the Church.

The ancient Greek word the Church uses for this is “Koinonia” which essentially means that the Eucharist is the sacrament of communion with one another, in the one Body of Christ.

“Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ?"(1 Corinthians 10:16)
And so it is that St. Paul tells us in 1 Cor 10:16 that we simply don’t receive Jesus in the Eucharist, but that together we join Him in Communion in the blood of Christ—“Nonne communicatio sanguinis?” as it is written in the Latin Vulgate; κοινωνία or Koinonia in Greek.

Likewise St. Thomas Aquinas writes:  “…the Eucharist is the sacrament of the unity of the Church, which results from the fact that many are one in Christ”, or as the Catechism states  “...by this sacrament we unite ourselves to Christ, who makes us sharers in his Body and Blood to form a single body.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1331).

With this in mind we can now better perceive one of the reasons why Jesus perhaps chose to possess blood type AB: for being that it is the universally receptive blood type, our blood, regardless of our own blood type, can be received by Him, so that no sinner is excluded from being taken up into His divine life! And so it is that by reflecting upon the the possibility of Jesus and the AB blood type we have a beautifully symbolic representation that points to the mystery of Holy Communion  and union with, and in, His most precious Body and Blood!

AB+ is also the universal plasma donor blood type
But this is not all---for not only is AB blood the universally receptive blood type, but AB+ blood is also known for being the universal plasma donor blood type, meaning that AB+ plasma can be transfused into any person, regardless of their blood type.

So, what would a blood plasma transplant provide, and why would a patient need one? Plasma attacks molecules called antibodies to help fight infections and it carries the clotting factors that stave off deadly hemorrhaging. In other words, plasma fights infections and it also helps to stop bleeding.

With this in mind, what spiritual allegories and symbolic conclusions can we derive from contemplating this last bit of information? Well, in this final matter I will leave it to the reader to reflect and make one’s own spiritual speculations and conclusions, and I will conclude this article in the joy of knowing that Jesus precious Blood is an inexhaustible font of salvation for humanity, and through receiving His precious Body and Blood in Communion we together unite in His divine life.

Father Khouri,

(If you really are a priest) I take it you do not believe or doubt the Eucharistic miracles. Do you not think that all the samples of the blood taken and tested by reputable organisation such as Universities at different locations throughout the world all testing AB+ blood type along with the tissue analysed and found to be from the heart is more than coincidence. Or do you think it is a world wide conspiracy organised by the church You say "Pray and act in charity" do you think you have?
Agreed we do not have to believe such things being not the deposit of faith, but I cannot help but think no wonder we have a problem with our clergy.

Universal recipient blood: any of us can shed our blood for Him, and He will accept it. But for us to receive His, we must be conformed to him; otherwise It will be deadly to us.

Fr Khouri.
These understandings deepen my Faith Belief for one;
- in the Holy Traditions, that Jesus still reveals Himself after His death on the Cross, from St Paul's conversion up until today, as in the Eucharist miracles. It strengthen the faith of the faithful believers.
- it helps explain in a deeper way Jesus' precious Blood, which is also shedded for You.

Dear readers
I have an addition to this subject that it is even more interesting.
Ron Wyatt supposedly found the Ark of the Covenant under the Golgotha and Dome of the Rock underground gallery area in Jerusalém (Jeremiah grotto). He was able to collect a sample of dried blood spilled over that object and handed it to a special Israeli Lab that managed to 'revive' the blood and got its karyotype using dividing Leukocytes (white blood cells) in mitosis. The result is amazing: that blood has 22 somatic chromosomes, plus a pair of sexual ones: X + Y. People usually have 44 somatic (22 from the father + 22 from the mother) and the pair of sexual chromosomes. That means that the owner of that blood had 23 chromosomes (including the X) from the mother and ONLY the Y from the 'father'!!!!!!
Here is a collection of Ron's talks on the subject... I'm amazed how this subject never went viral: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ron+wyatt+ark+of+the+covenant
He has already passed away, so this is his Family website: https://www.ronwyatt.com/

We have that free will to search for answers. God would approve of this because we are searching for the truth. Man kind can never be trusted because it has been proven the catholic church misinterpeted the scrolls to begin with. The day of rest is saturday not sunday. There is no trinity god is one jesus is one. That is what jesus meant when he says we are one when describing his father. He did not mean that himself and jesus are combined into one. Even the poor put together bible that has books missing from it still clearly seperates the two beings as two different beings not one. Trinity is a lie walk away from the trinity and back to the one true God.

There are some errors here. The universal recipient is O negative. The universal donor is AB negative. No one with positive RH can receive negative blood. So...while it is a nice idea that Our Lord's blood type is AB+ so that everyone can receive without a problem, it would not be accurate. RH factor can cause great problems of rejection for RH negative. I think that the priest who commented is right. We can get to analytical here. More faith, less analysis.

Glenn Dallaire said...

Virginie,
Thanks for your comments. Everything stated in this article concerning blood types is correct, and unfortunately much of what you stated concerning blood types is incorrect.
1) Firstly, your statement that "The universal recipient is O negative" is completely incorrect. In fact, the truth is almost the exact opposite of what you said--O Negatives can ONLY receive from other O negatives, so they are definitely are very far from being "Universal Recipients" as you stated.

2) You stated "The universal donor is AB negative". What is incorrect in your statement is that the universal blood donor is Type O negative blood (not AB!) while the universal plasma donor is Type AB blood.

Again, all of what was stated in the article concerning blood types is correct.

Hi Virginie,

I have to respectfully disagree with you. The universal recipient is blood type AB while the universal donor is blood type O. I remember this well from my science class in high school because I also have blood type AB and was happy to hear that I am a universal recipient.

If you want more evidence, below are some websites that you can consult.

Thank you so much for your extremely clear writing on this! I've been trying to express it for a number of years but failed, leaving people scratching their heads. I hadn't even realized the significance originally because I was just in awe that our Lord and Savior had left tangible, physical traces of Himself for doubting Thomases to discover. Initially my only thought was that it was amazing that the Eucharistic miracles around the world, along with the Shroud of Turin and so on, were all tied together with the same blood type. It was my son, a non-believer, who said, "How interesting that the Savior of all Mankind is a universal receiver, not a universal donor." That opened my eyes and understanding of koinonia. Of course, in my son's thinking, it's "rude" of Jesus to be a universal receiver, but that's from the typical atheist/agnostic demand on God to conform to their rules for Him. It's typical for such people to require God to welcome everyone in their sin - to live their sin and keep their sinful ways and still receive a seat at the banquet. It's immaturity. For my son and for all such as these, please pray with me:

O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You.
O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You.
O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You.
Jesus, I trust in You.
Jesus, I trust in You.
Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You.

"Antigens present in AB+ also play a vital role in plasma donations. While AB+ blood has both A and B antigens on the red blood cells, neither of the antigens are present in the plasma. This makes AB+ the universal plasma donor, meaning that AB+ plasma can be transfused into patients who have any other ABO blood type. The AB blood group is believed to be the newest blood type. The AB blood group is the result of the intermingling between Caucasian (commonly group A) and Mongolian (commonly group B) people. Acts 17:26-31 King James Version (KJV)
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

It would make sense for his blood to be AB+ and have all the blood types in one to divide his blood among the Earth.

Well, the reason why Ron WyattW's work didn't get much recognition was that I guess Ron Wyatt was wrong. 1 ) First of all the location of the Calvary mountain or Golgotha is mistaken. It has been proven by the latest restoration work and excavation that the old hillock which Ron excavated was not Golgotha. Golgotha was close to the burial place of Jesus. Watch thb National Geographic episode on the secrets of the tomb of Christ. The real burial place and Gogotha was outside the walls of the cuty. But later the old wall was pulled down and the new wall was constructed and this time , it was built around the Holy sepulchre and the real Golgotha. The one outside which Ron points out is fake.

Secondly, Ron said that the Israeli blood testing staff said that the blood sample belonged to the messiah. No Isreali would dare say that.

Also the burial place which Ron has pointed out is much older than the real burial place of Jesus. It is said to be maybe 500 to 1000 years older than the one mentioned in the Bible. Jesus original Bible place was newly hewn out of Rock according to the Bible.

Then Ron said that the angels made him take a photograph of the ten commandments. Well where is it ?
I think this is evangelical or Protestant version of the whole thing.

In accordance with the research of blood typing as it pertains to the Shroud of Turin, they cannot determine the rhesus factor due to the sample being too degraded. Yes the red blood gene tests positively for AB blood, but not for rhesus. Testing positively for AB is not the same as testing positive for AB+ blood. Just dont want this misrepresented as fact.

Even if you are pretending to drink his blood and eat his flesh it's disgusting, and insane that a religion will request that people should pretend to be cannibals and vampires in order to be in communion with Jesus no wonder the world is screw up. If we believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is truly God and truly human, why do we not believe that even the Lord Jesus, as far as His humanity, has blood type as well? If the splashes of the blood of Jesus as in the Shroud of Turin by many experts, from various schools and religions, are determined as AB blood type, this means that AB blood type is actually a group of the Lord Jesus Christ. And I believe that is the truth. The scientific truths offered by these scholars have even strengthened my faith in the Holy Eucharist, that if I receive Holy Communion, I will receive the Body and Blood of Christ that belongs to AB.

Hello! I stumbled upon your post and response regarding Ron Wyatt and his find of the Ark of the Covenant. It is now December 16, 2020 and we are living through a PLandemic and watching a vaccine get rushed through AND is the first time mRNA is being used. So far, the vaccine will not be made mandatory although it sure feels like we are close to Revelations 13. Media only speaks on infected and not mortality.
Bill Gates rushed a patent through and the patent number WO2020060606. You can see the devise and patent on Google. So far it seems there's a connection with the Sumarians and the Nephilim. The evil underbelly of the world sacrifice babies and people for their power And worship satan. I don't have all the answers but I keep telling my friends if an old video of Ron Wyatt is unveiled and he is holding the Ten Commandments then we will know the mark of the beast will be offered shortly after. Our entire history taught to us in school was a complete lie. Iraq is Babylon AND Sumeria and I never knew this. The Freemasons is the vein in which satanism was secretly spread through the world. Its backwards inversion.

I did not read any comments but I read the article. AB+ blood cannot be given universally. That's fact, I'm sorry to bring that to light. I am A- and I cannot receive blood that's Rhesus + in any shape or form, it would mess my body up. That alone, receiving AB in general would be detrimental because of the B factor of the blood type, even if it was - Rhesus. O- is universal to every blood type to be received to anyone and everyone. Like the last recent comment, AB+ can receive from any blood type, but they can only give to other AB+ and not even AB-'s. Please do not spread misinformation, people read this and take it to heart. On top of that, I read Jesus was AB- from blood/sweat samples from cloth that was wrapped on his body on the day of his crucifixion. Even with this being made in 2018, people are still seeing it. Please thoroughly research before posting, have a good rest of your day/year.

It would be more realistic that Jesus had O- blood type. This is the universal donor type. This is the blood type that is given to ill newborns and is on emergency vehicles not just because everyone can receive it but also because it is the "purest" type. Negative blood can only receive from negative blood and O- blood can only receive from O- blood. You are leaving all of the people that have negative blood out of the equation. Like someone said people need to stop over analyzing this type of stuff. People out there take this stuff to heart. Please stop the misguidance and believe that Jesus shed his blood for all of us and not just some of us.

Unknown said...

In the bible god speaks of no sharing of blood. He also speaks of not eating of unclean animals. That was to separate gods people from the rest of the world. However Jesus came to Paul and told Paul that he (Jesus) has made everything clean so eat. It is not what goes in ones mouth that is unclean but what comes out of it that makes us unclean. There go god knew people didn't have the proper means of preparing unclean animals to eat and we would get sick or die. Same as "sharing of blood." Through Jesus blood we are all made clean. Thus AB blood type is the recipient of all.

What is plasma in blood?
Plasma is the liquid portion of blood. About 55% of our blood is plasma, and the remaining 45% are red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets that are suspended in the plasma.

Plasma is about 92% water. It also contains 7% vital proteins such as albumin, gamma globulin and anti-hemophilic factor, and 1% mineral salts, sugars, fats, hormones and vitamins.

Plasma serves four important functions in our body:

1. Helps maintain blood pressure and volume.

2. Supply critical proteins for blood clotting and immunity.

3. Carries electrolytes such as sodium and potassium to our muscles.

4. Helps to maintain a proper pH balance in the body, which supports cell function.

What is blood plasma used for?
Plasma is commonly given to trauma, burn and shock patients, as well as people with severe liver disease or multiple clotting factor deficiencies. It helps boost the patient’s blood volume, which can prevent shock, and helps with blood clotting. Pharmaceutical companies use plasma to make treatments for conditions such as immune deficiencies and bleeding disorders.

What is a plasma donation?
In a plasma-only donation, the liquid portion of the donor’s blood is separated from the cells. Blood is drawn from one arm and sent through a high-tech machine that collects the plasma. The donor’s red blood cells and platelets are then returned to the donor along with some saline. The process is safe and only takes a few minutes longer than donating whole blood.

Donated plasma is frozen within 24 hours of being donated to preserve its valuable clotting factors. It can be stored for up to one year and thawed for transfusion to a patient when needed. Red Cross donations are often used directly for hospital patient transfusions, rather than pharmaceutical uses.

The Importance Of Plasma In Blood
AB plasma can be given to patients of any blood type. However, type AB blood is rare in the United States – only about 4% of us have it. That means most Americans can’t make this important contribution and we all rely on donors with AB blood to help doctors care for trauma patients.

Type AB Positive
Less than 4% of the U.S. population have AB positive blood.
AB positive blood type is known as the “universal recipient” because AB positive patients can receive red blood cells from all blood types.

Jesus poured out HIS blood to mankind, his blood would have to be accepted by all of mankind. AB negative blood is the universal donor blood and AB positive is universal recipient.. Jesus didn't accept our blood, he was a DONOR.

AB- are universal donors...AB+ are universal recipients. Jesus didn't receive our blood, he was the universal donor. Therefore - his blood had to be AB-.

Let's approach this subject from a different perspective. Eucharist miracles show that Jesus' blood type is AB-positive. 2.5% of people have an AB-positive blood type. AB-positive blood types are known as “universal recipients” because AB-positive patients can receive red blood cells from all blood types. Since His crucifixion, the blood of Christ has been mixed with the blood of the saints, for they "complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church." (Colossians 1:24). Saint's blood becomes of a new type in Christ, which excludes 97.5% of people unwilling to mix their suffering with Christ's.

25% of Catholics go to church every Sunday, of those, only 63% believe in the Eucharist as the true body and blood of Christ, and that is only 3% of the world population!

let's add:

Saint Gertrude's writing: "He who takes the Eucharist from a pure desire of God's glory, can never communicate with irreverence." We also know, by statistics above, that only 3% of all souls—all Catholics—fall into this category. If we include the revelation of Saint Bridget: "God quickly withdraws from the heart that is not protected by the humility of confession." We can now draw the conclusion that 20% of people who reverently partake of the Eucharist do not appropriately attend confession. It's a narrow path that involves attending confession with an attitude of humility and an understanding of sin. Tragically, just 2.5 percent of people are willing to do that.

His 2.5% blood acceptance, is a type.

O negative is not the universal recipient... it is the universal donor - meaning everyone can use O negative for emergency situations or blood transfusions. Moreover, those with O negative can only receive O negative if blood is ever needed. I have O negative, I also have blue eyes, am white, blonde hair -- all supposedly recessive genes.
