They did not fulfill their Easter duties and were also converted at the point of death........There are in this stage of Purgatory religious of both sexes, who were tepid, neglectful of their duties, indifferent towards Jesus, also priests who did not exercise their sacred ministry with the reverence due to the Sovereign Majesty and who did not instill the love of God sufficiently into the souls confided to their care."

It sounds like she is saying that the people in this stage were in a state of mortal sin, but converted at the point of death, but I was under the impression the religous' sins of tepidity, being neglectful of duties, etc. were venial sins.

Could someone please clarify? It proves that Purgatory exists & why Jesus allows it...
I saw my Guardian Angel, who ordered me to follow him. In a moment I was in a misty place full of fire in which there was a great crowd of suffering souls. They were praying fervently, but to no avail, for themselves; only we can come to their aid. The flames which were burning them did not touch me at all. My Guardian Angel did not leave me for an instant. I asked these souls what their greatest suffering was. They answered me in one voice that their greatest torment was longing for God. I saw Our Lady visiting the souls in PURGATORY. The souls call her “The Star of the Sea.” She brings them refreshment. I wanted to talk with them some more, but my Guardian Angel beckoned me to leave. We went out of that prison of suffering. [I heard an interior voice] which said, My mercy does not want this, but justice demands it. Since that time, I am in closer communion with the suffering souls. It is a good work to pray for the dead. Why feel “greedy” if you logically hope that your meritorious efforts play a role in going straight to heaven? Just before Jesus ascended into Heaven He has some good things to say about praying for the souls in Purgatory...

And for this reason, the Church Militant will have to provide with love for the suffrages on behalf of that part of it which, already destined to the Church Triumphant, is still excluded from it, because of the satisfactory expiation of faults absolved but not entirely expiated with regard to the Perfect Divine Justice. In the mystical Body, everything is to be done in love and through love. Because love is the blood that circulates in it. Assist your brothers who are being purified. As I said that the works of corporal mercy achieve a reward for you, in Heaven, so I told you that also the spiritual ones achieve it for you. And I truly tell you that a prayer for the souls of the dead, that they may enter into peace, is a great work of mercy, for which God will bless you and the souls for whom you have prayed will be grateful. When at the resurrection of the bodies, you are all gathered before Christ Judge, among those whom I will bless, there
will be also those who showed love for their brothers who were being purified, making offerings and praying for their peace. I tell you. Not one of the good actions will be left without fruit, and many will shine brightly in Heaven, without having preached, administered, made apostolic journeys, embraced special states, but only because they
prayed and suffered to give peace to the souls that were being purified, to lead men to conversion.Rob Hulberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09015466952018746152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7233237209177841826.post-76548852462619086302021-06-19T22:33:39.969-04:002021-06-19T22:33:39.969-04:00I have never heard such utter lunacy as this Catho...I have never heard such utter lunacy as this Catholic gibberish about Purgatory. Any examples from the saints and mystics to confirm this? Some believe there are no demons in purgatory, but I am not sure of that, since demons vex the living on Earth right now.
Answer: The only thing I read so far is from a Rwandan mystic who said that in the lowest purgatory levels sometimes the demons do try to pull through the "door" which separates hell and purgatory, souls into the eternal hell because of the proximity. But it's not possible because a soul in purgatory is saved not damned. Nevertheless, in their insane rage they do try to. Socialism is evil...The present pope is a socialist. Socialism is evil. There have been good popes and bad popes. When I go to Communion and return to the pew to say a prayer for the release of a soul, I, and others, are required to say an Our Father and a Hail Mary for the intentions of the pope. At first, this bothered me, and I did as asked, but, felt uncomfortable about the requirement for this man.
I finally decided that I must continue the prayers for the pope, and let God decide what to do about it, as I surely want the people that I pray for to get out of Purgatory, if they still happen to be there.
I have a sister who is very religious, and also a brother like that, and they listen to Michael Voris, who claims that only Catholics can get to Heaven.
I found something in the Mass which contradicts that belief. It is found in the Offertory, and this is what it says: Receive, O Holy Father, almighty and eternal God, this spotless host, which I, Thine unworthy servant, offer unto Thee, my living and true God, for my countless sins, trespasses, and omissions; likewise for all here present, and for ALL FAITHFUL CHRISTIANS, whether living or dead, that it may avail both me and them to salvation, unto life everlasting. Amen. My caps.
This prayer is apparently overlooked by everyone, but, I noticed it some time ago, and if it has been a part of the Mass for hundreds and hundreds of years, and is still there, why, I take it literally.
When I pointed this out to my brother and sister, I got no answer. I think that I hit a home run.
If a person is a faithful Christian, then, the Catholic priest saying the prayer is obviously including Protestants. I certainly hope so. I take it on faith. I recommend it.HCUAnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7233237209177841826.post-23793932630211309192019-01-16T11:18:05.272-05:002019-01-16T11:18:05.272-05:00Purgatory is a dogma of the Catholic faith--just l...Purgatory is a dogma of the Catholic faith--just like Hell--that one must believe to qualify as a Catholic.
